Why do I get so tired? :|

And the crazy week rolls on! Forgive the occasional lack of updates. When I get home from double-jobbin' it, I usually try to catch up on the internet, but I am quite tired and detailed, fancy-shmancy blog posts elude my ability. :<

I was gonna nag Wake Tech this morning about my financial aid and whatnot, right? Buuut I managed to oversleep. D: Alarm clock fail. So I stumbled downstairs getting my clothes out of the dryer, asked mom to make me a salad, tho I corrected myself and said sandwich. xD I lol'd at it later. All.. drowsy, with eye makeup smudged under my eyes, red blanket lines on my face, hair a mess "Can you make me a salad?! -- No. I mean a sandwich. I overslept!"

lawl. Fail.

And somehow, I was still ready on time. Tho.. Mom stopped me and we talked in the driveway for like.. two minutes, which made me late for work. :<

I still need to get a USB to USB cord for my printer. *Ponder* Thankfully I'm getting a paycheck within the next two or three days. I have a lot of arts to show the world. I doodled lots of things on cardboard, and I've been working on my new sketchbook. I'm just glad to be drawing more again, even if the stuff doesn't come out as wonderfully as I'd like.

Yes.. Many interesting things keep happening in my life as of late. I'm waiting for things to pan out before I say anything.

... lawl, so mysterious, right? :B

Ugh. It's only 11:00 and I am sooo tired.

Girls Night Out

I slept a lot last night. =_= Sooo tired. I woke up at 10:00-something due to some fuzzball jumping on me. I slept more, but eventually woke up again around 1:00 due to another fuzzball attack. Eh. I still felt exhausted, but couldn't go back to sleep. Plus I knew we were planning on doing stuff today, so I needed to get up sooner or later. So I shoved off the big, suffocating, orange fuzzball and took a shower.

It still took me awhile to function. xD I didn't feel awake and without a headache until the sun was setting.

Mom and I dropped Caden and Caressa off at Grandma's. She and Aunt Shari were nice enough to watch them for us while we went out. :3 First place we went was A.C.Moore. I found a beautiful sketchbook on sale from $20, down to $10. It's green leather, has nice paper, has a little elastic band to keep it together, and a ribbon bookmark on it. I can't wait to fill it with stuff. I love the fresh start of a new sketchbook. <3

Then we went next door to K&G fashion, which I will admit, I felt quite out of place there. xD I was swimming through black people, searching for my Mom. You'd think I could find the seemingly only other white woman in the store, but it did take me a little bit. xD But this place had AMAZING deals. I got a GREAT leather jacket for $15. I also got a niiice brown jacket top thing for the same price, and a new wallet for the same price since mine has been broken for some time.. and another wallet as a Christmas present for someone for $5. And some stinkin' awesome sunglasses for $10, 'cause I have a sunglasses fetish and those were exactly what I've been looking for. :D Then we spent enough money in total to get the $25 giftcard, which Mom gave to me. :D I'm hopefully gonna go back before the 50% off the sale items sale ends and get some new boots. <3

Then we looked through Sams Club real quick, got nothin' and went to Michaels. I got some little things to make charms for Animazement. :3

Then we went to Sears. Mom was looking for vests. Then we went to Applebee's and used my $15 coupon for dinner. We both got water, and then a sampler platter, and onion rings. It only cost us like.. $2, plus the tip. :D

Aaand then we hit Best Buy, lookin' at more stuff and I was checking out the car stereos.

THEN we went to Target. I got some toiletry type things. I'm trying to conserve my money. xD

Apparently a lot of stuff is going on sale tomorrow. :O Aaand then there's Cyber Monday. Hrrrmm. I need to make a careful list of what I *actually* need. xD

So yeah. I'm still really tired. And cold. So I'm gonna go to sleep and hope the rest of my cold or whatever goes away. I'm hoping to get GZ work done, as well as clean my room up and do my laundry tomorrow before I hit Adventure Landing with a friend. :3

Black Friday Shenanigans...

So I didn't sleep awesome, and got up at 3:30, got dressed, and wandered downstairs right on time to be greeted with coffee and a biscuit with ham and cheese that Mom made for me. ... Honestly, I was still full feeling from Thanksgiving. xD But uh.. I eventually ate it while we were driving to Walmart.

So we skedaddled for stuff. But a lot of the items we were looking for? Yeah, they said they were giving out tickets for them at 5:00 in the morning. No, someone cracked and they gave them out at 3:00 AM. :| Laaaame. So we ended up getting a number of smaller things.

I loved making a mad dash around this unfamiliar Walmart for oddball objects. I was so tired though. My eyes stung with tiredness. I had my coffee and protein, but I was so tired that it couldn't hide the feeling.

I found the big TV line, and that associate followed the rules and was giving out tickets at 5:00 AM, and I could have gotten one.. xD But I had no money. Only like.. nine or ten dollars that had to get me lunch and snack for the next two or three work days 'till my paycheck. But somehow, I still got oil for my car, V for Vendetta on Bluray, aaand a nifty printer for $25. :D It's kinda an early Christmas present, 'cause I need it asap. xD And considering V for Vendetta has vanished, I'll probably find it in my stocking. xD

And I lol'd at Walmart's people running around, giving out free coffee and donuts. There were lines and lines of people camping out, sitting in the aisles, reading books, ect. Next year, if there's a big ticket item like that, I will totally be the over-zealous weirdy that camps out in the aisle from the night before. xD It's how you win, man. It's how you win... But yeah, the lady I saw was running around with a flatbed of donuts and coffee, declaring in a high pitched voice "Anyone want donuts?! Coffee?! Compliments of Walmart! Coffeeeeee! COFFFFFEEEEEEEE!!!" Ah, man.. it was the best.

And whenever do you get to dart around Walmart, making mad dashes in every which direction and it be perfectly normal? xD Hey man, that was fun.

I got dropped off at home per my request though before everyone went to other stores. I needed to try to sleep some more before I took on my jobs. I slept for like.. four more hours. :D And then got up, got ready, made some food and coffee, and went to work.

The prices went up today. I didn't have much complaining, but I'm sure concessions was beat over the head more than once. WAY more than once. The new signs are nicer. They're MUCH easier to read.

And even though I wasn't soooo so so tired, I didn't feel good all day. I've been kinda sick for the past week. And talking non stop in the box office, with no access to drinks, with no breaks to go to the water fountain, was Not Good. Plus I'm also getting really sick of dealing with people sometimes. I just start to feel bad and think bad things about them. ;_; Which is terrible, I know. They just wanna see a movie. But my throat is in paaain, I can barely talk, and people don't stop coming.. :<

I was glad when I finally got to go on break around 3:30. I went to Subway, and ate at Subway, by myself, away from the Marquee. I needed a break from the insanity. The jalapenos were not good for my throat. They burned and choked me. :< The tea was amazing though.

Then, back to the grind. It went by alright. But man, I was sooo glad to be free. Then I got changed and got Mom's dishes back from Tracy, who was nice enough to take them home and wash them. :D So cool.

Then I counted all the money I had left. I really needed something to keep me going. It's hard enough going from one job to another sometimes, but when I'm sick? Ugh. It's hard... Yeah. And since I missed the lunch special at Subway, my lunch cost me like $2 more than I thought it would. So I counted up all my money and went to the Wakefield McDonalds, and got a value chicken sandwhich and a small coffee. And my old co-worker Keshawn totally took my order. xD I thought it was him, and then I paid him at the window. lawl. I was amused. And so was he.

So I went to the second job, and listened to music in the parking garage while drinking coffee, waiting for Mr.P to show up so we could get started. He always shows up early. So do I. I don't have anything better to do.. and I like the quiet atmosphere of a parking garage and office building after the insanity of the Marquee. Honestly, it's such a rapid change of pace. It feels worlds away from the Marquee, even though it's just down the road. xD

And since it was just after Thanksgiving and Black Friday, there was nearly nothing to be cleaned. I spiffed up everything that needed done, but really, not a lot of people were there. We were done in an hour. :3 Then I headed home.

I tried to set up my printer, only to realize I need a USB to USB cord thing. We might have one, but yeah, it didn't come with one. D: BUT. I am very glad to FINALLY have a printer/scanner/copier in here. x3 Now I can just scan and draw! It's amazing! :D

Aaaand I am SOOOO tired now... Mom and I might be going out tomorrow since everyone's going to PA tomorrow morning. We'll use my bowling coupons, my Applebee's card, and my free movie passes. :B She's gonna take that dog to Petsmart tomorrow to see if we can get hooked up with fostering him, so we can adopt him out. I'm thinking of sleeping in at this rate. I am sooo whooped. :<

Hmm..

OH!

So.

I did this online Adobe survey, right? I got through three questions, and I was disqualified and shut out of the survey. xD But they said they'd enter me in the drawing for prizes to thank me for my time anyways. Well... I totally forgot about it, and a few weeks later, I get an email saying I won a $100 gift card, and they only needed my address to send it to. o_o I was suspicious... But they weren't asking for bank account info, or any personal information besides name and address. And I googled the company it came from and stuff, and it all seemed quite legit. Sooo.. I sent them my address.

And low and behold, today, the card came in the mail. xDD That's wonderful timing! Right when I was down to like.. two dollars for lunch Monday and maybe Tuesday. xD Pretty cool...

*Ponder* How cool is that? I do some random survey in two or three minutes, get shut out, and don't think a *thing* of it. Then I wreck my car, Dad is out of a job, and I simply don't have enough money to get lunches while at work for the next two days, and I can't go without food. Then somehow, all of it came together and God provided me with $100 right when I needed it. If I had gotten it any sooner, I would have spent it this morning. Now that's cool. :D

Happy Thanksgiving!

I didn't blog last night 'cause I was gone aaalll day, and then saw Ninja Assassin, which got out really late, and I missed my time stamp anyways. Plus I was SO DEAD TIRED that I couldn't function. Bah.

But at the same time I was giddy.. mostly due to taking my medicine far too late and with coffee. That's a bad idea, FYI.

Ninja Assassin... It's not that great of a movie. Kinda cliche, simple and not terribly interesting story. But there were Amazing Ninja Fight Scenes. Like.. a lot of them. Rain is amazing. Uh-mazing. <3 I frickin' love a brutal bloody sweaty battle involving a shirtless battle scarred hot Asian man with sexy hair. In a flaming dojo. Just sayin'. xD

I have such a hard time sitting still during fight scenes. You know how people get all jumpy watching football, right? Well, when it comes to hand-to-hand type stuff, omg, that's so me. And I make the weirdest faces, too.. CJ caught some of them.

Did I mention there were practically fountains of neon red blood? Definitely stylized, but you can't help but cringe a little. ... At least me. I don't watch a lot of R rated movies, so some of it was a little shocking. Like, the first attack, where something lops the top of that dude's head off. o_o And his head flops on the floor, staring. Eeeew. That was prolly the worst though. xD For the most part, I was cracking up at the oddest things like I always do. :3

I <3 Rain.

Uuuuhh... Then I went home and crashed, but did not sleep well.

And I woke up this morning to get ready. And as I'm getting ready, Mom knocks on my door. And considering I said "what?" twice with no answer, I knew something was up. Then I heard Caressa come upstairs and ask what Mom was doing with the puppy or something. xD

So our neighbor was out hunting. They see these two dogs, and they had a litter of puppies. Well, someone shot this puppy's brother, and was gonna shoot him, too. But Michael stopped him and took him home, but his parents wouldn't let him keep him. They already have two dogs. So he takes him over to us to ask where the pound is? xD But the pound is closed on Thanksgiving.

Oh so convenient. So.. the puppy lived with us for the day. And prolly the next few days. He's some kind of mix between a rottie, a lab, and a.. pointer maybe. He has a rottie butt mark. xD It's cute.

And then, Thanksgiving at work! It wasn't that bad in the morning! :D I was so glad. But most places were closed, yes, and especially at night. So Mom made like.. a little feast for us. And she brought it up to the Marquee with the help of Seri, and we all helped unload it and set it up in the back room, and it was an amazing buffet. Everyone was so happy to see all the food. It was great. :D I heard a lot of good things about it all.

And yeah, it wasn't terribly busy, and the day went by pretty quick. :D I drew two things in box on cardboard again. One weird abstract thing, and then some propaganda style work featuring a flock of marching headless turkeys. :B

And I got off about 40 minutes early, went home, got changed, and the Thanksgiving shenanigans got underway. Lots of food, lots of people, ect. I ate too much. Drank too much tea, and too much coffee. xD

And then we all talked about our Black Friday shopping sales. It was amusing. There was this little round table in the office, with a lit candle in the middle, and a bunch of women (and Mickie), huddled around with flyers, deciding on what to go after. :B Knights of the round table? lawl. Uncle J said Mickie had to hand over his Man Card for participating in the shopping planning. xD

So somehow, I have been roped into going to Walmart at 4:00 in the morning to stand in line to get a ticket and try to get some fancy item for someone for Christmas. See, Walmart changed how they do things (prolly due to the tramples last year), thus forcing us to change how we do things. Before it was just Mom, Aunt Kristi, and Grammy. No kids allowed. But I'm not a kid anymore. So they've negotiated the rules to allow graduates, too. xD

Bummer part? I have no money due to my car. D: But I still want to be part of the madness, and learn my way around, so I can go out on my own next year and knock some socks off. Will I be buying Christmas presents for other people? ... Prolly not. xD I'll probably be terribly selfish and hit all the deals that will benefit me. I'm at a good point in my life where I can take advantage of these sales for myself since I'm not buying expensive presents for nieces and nephews yet. xD

... Though, even if I did have money, I can't say I'd be running out to spend it. *Ponder* It's one of those things that kills me because I can't, yaknow? BUT. If I could, I'd get this TV, this GPS, and this printer, all for about.. $225. Daaaang. Good deals. Dx So if I save next year with the intentions of getting some stuff I need, I'll be ready. >D

Michaels has some nice stuff on sale, too. And now that I have a car and whatnot, I've realized that I can go out on my own and do whatever! For some reason, last year, I felt like I didn't belong on the Black Friday Sales. It's always been something the Moms and Grammy do together. But just now it clicked that I don't have to go out with them. o_O

The other bummer part? I'm gonna try to sleep after this a bit, but I gotta work at the Marquee and for the Red Coats. xDD Figures, right? I'm gonna be whooped... BUT. I can sleep in Saturday and prolly rest a lot on Sunday. Which is good. I'm gonna need it before I go in for week 2 of the non-stop madness.

So yeah. I'm trying to catch up on GZ so I can relax this weekend. But blargh... I don't even have that much to do online! But I really don't have much time. Bah. I need to grab a shower.

And I'm trying to guess what Mom is getting me for Christmas. She said Dad already picked something out for me, they're just waiting on a coupon, and it's not online. Ohohoho. I like this kind of guessing game. >D

Dang, Christmas is gonna be here before I know it. D: ... Which is also good, 'cause my life will shift from insanity to a light work load plus two or three Wake Tech classes. I look forward to the change.

Shop safe!

IT LIIIIVVVVESSSS!!

I doodled somethin' cool in box today. I'll upload it eventually. I <3 Soterious stuff. My brain has been slowly churning out new ideas for my comics.

Work was work. Was in box all day. It's better than concessions, but still, sometimes, I just wish people would stop coming to me. D:

Second job went better. The change in atmosphere is nice. After the craziness of the Marquee, going to dead office buildings is nice. The most pressing thing is trying not to trip any alarms. xD And I get to wear whatever I want, have my phone with me, my iPod in one ear, and chew gum. My supervisor? Mr.P. lawl. It's way laid back.

Hrrrmm..

So when everything was done, I went home. I saw Dad and one of our mechanic friends working on my car in the garage. And as I hopped out of the Norris van, and after I was spooked by Mom and Mrs. Dinette in the other van, I headed out back. I hear something running, and I wanted it so bad to be my car.

AND IT WAS.

OH YEAH.

They were just finishing up. x3 Aaaand I got to take it for a drive to see if it ran like it used to. And.. either I've been driving way too many vehicles lately that don't drive as well, or it drives a heck of a lot better than it did. <3 It's UH-MAZING. And so familiar! It takes off like a dream. <3 Maaan. You have NO idea how much I've missed it. ;^;

I need to get some Freon for the AC Condenser, a new dipstick, and a new power steering cap, 'cause neither of the ones we found worked. xD Figures. Then I'm gonna get a new headlight, 'cause the new one looks AMAZING and the old one sooo trashy. Plus, the new one is SO much brighter. I gotta make it even. Then I need to get up with our friend who has a body shop, and see if he'll let us paint it there or somethin'. I gotta get the paint. Also, I need new brakes and an oil change. :D But it's all good, and it runs, and I can use it. <3

Many thanks go out to my Dad for doing so much work on it. I wish I could repay him somehow. I helped clean up his garage a little? But rly.. xD

He said the kittens were being obnoxious while he was working under the hood. xD They would climb on top of him, jump up into the engine area, get on the hood, smack the antenna around, then slide (with claws) down the hood, and jump on his stomach. lawl. They're crazy.

I look forward to painting it and putting more chrome on it. :D Good thing I got this second job. xD

And.

WOOOOW. So I'm lookin' at the Black Friday Walmart sales? It's a shame I don't even have enough for lunch for the rest of November. D8 They have a good scanner/printer from HP for $25. o___o 19" LCD TV for $120. A TOMTOM FOR $60. Do need.

Surprise! ..a month late. lawl.

Catching up tonight...

My other goldfish died last night. ... She's really fuzzy tonight. :x

Uhh.. So Saturday. We had a surprise birthday party for Mom. ... xD I had fun keeping the secret and putting out little hints here and there that helped the illusion of me not knowing what was going on at all. xD

It went well. I was really tired though, due to no protein all morning and afternoon. Bah. Even afterwards, I felt wonky, despite several cups of coffee. I was dyin'. Just plain tired. And a number of people came up to me, sounding all concerned "So I heard you're holding down two jobs now?" ... :/ It's not that big of a deal I don't think..

--

Bah.

Today.

Mondaaaay. D: And we had a showing on the house at 10:30, meaning I had to be up and about earlier than normal. Thankfully, Mom got some food at McDonalds before she dropped me off at work. I was in box, too. Yaaay. Easy on my feet. :3

And I got sent on break at like 1:00. D: I wasn't that hungry at all, but I knew I needed to eat, or I'd be in trouble later. So I went to Subway. Then Tyler and the Employee Who Doesn't Want His Name On The Internet, whom I shall call Mr.P, came in behind me. And since the guy who cleans the grease trap had visited that day, the Marquee's back room smelled wonky, so we all decided to stay at Subway and eat.

I grabbed a seat at the bar, then Tyler sits next to me, and Mr.P next to Tyler. xD It was fun. Good times, good times.

Rest of work? Work was work. I did make something kinda cool though. I doodled Raven on some cardboard and made dramatic shadowing and highlighting with pens, sharpies, and beige whiteout. :D I'll put it online soon-ish. Dang I need a scanner.

Once I got off work, I waited for Mom and Dad to come. We called the Norris family in FL, and they're letting us borrow their van that they left here. We put a new battery in it since the old one was flat out dead, and it worked just find. Smells a little musty inside, but somehow, it reminds me of my childhood. xD I'm trying to remember what good thing in my past smelled like that.

So Mom and Dad dropped me off at my second job, and then Dad rode home with Mom and left the Norris van with me. Dang. I went from driving nothin' but my PT for more than a year straight to four different vehicles in one week. Wao.

My radiator fan came in today. ... Or at least the tracking number said so. I didn't actually see the box. Now I'm waiting on the actual radiator, unless it's here too and I didn't see that either.

SO CLOSE. I miss my PT. At least the Norris' van has a working radio and cupholders. :D

OH. And the truck sold today. D: Which is a bittersweet blessing. The whole process went really fast, too. I will miss the thing. :<

So yeah. Red Coats. I got done in an hour and a half today. New record! Tho I helped with the other stuff afterwards. I hope I get done that quick in the future, too. :D

Yeah, nothing too exciting.

I'm tired now.

Junk Yards = Win

Woah. So.. I finally make a point to blog and the internet and phone goes out most of the day, leaving me with no way to do all the work I needed to do. D: Figures, right? I even wrote up a little post from my phone, but it wouldn't submit. D:

Okay. So Saturday. Mom was having a yard sale at my Aunt's house. Caden was sick though, so he stayed here and Dad watched him while cleaning the house. I also cleaned the house when I got up. We left around 11:40 (We had a showing 12:00-2:00) to drop Caden off with Mom. I ran into some old friends who happened to stop by. xD Small world.

I got some coffee and junk food from the snack bin Mom was selling stuff out of, and then Dad and I left. We went to Kohls in Raleigh, where we waited for some people to come look at Dad's truck. Yes, woe, we are selling it. I hate to see it go, but something tells me its for the better...

Well, the Dad showed up, followed shortly by the Mom and Son. I ended up staying behind with the Mom, Jan, while the guys went for a test drive and talked about the truck. xD My social skills are improving. I can carry on a 20 minute conversation with a complete stranger and it isn't awkward at all. :B

After that was done, we went to the LKQ junkyard. Which was quite an experience. xD From pulling in to pulling out. As we pulled in, the truck got all kinds of stares, and of course, many super excited thumbs up from all the Mexicans. xD Then there was a guy with a truck, a generator, and an air compressor outside who also complimented Dad's truck, but I was more amused with what he was doing. He just stayed there all day, changing people's tires and filling them up with air. He wasn't part of LKQ.

Keep in mind most people here were Mexicans with wheel barrels, loading up on parts. Outside the yard, there was a taco stand... and the mothers and young kids would eat and hang out there, while the fathers and older sons would go in the junk yard to load up their wheel barrels with parts. o_o

So we go in. It's $2 admission per person, and they stamp your hand. I swear, I was the only English speaking female there, and the I think every single man was staring at me at I walked past the long line for check-out.

Now, you can take whatever you want off the cars. The areas of the yard are marked by makers. We hit the Chrysler section, searching for dipsticks, power steering caps, PT Cruiser Emblems, and.. just anything interesting.

Did you know dipsticks are in high demand? xD Most of the vehicles didn't have them anymore! lawl. Either they break a LOT, or there's some crazy underground market for dipsticks. o_o It took us awhile, but Dad found what appeared to be the right kind of Power Steering Cap.

Eventually, I found a dipstick that looked about the right length. Dad measured it, and it was a fit! Though the pulley thing was different, it was the closest thing we could find and was worth a shot.

Then we just looked around for awhile. I wanted to find some kind of cool emblem to put on the back, or jack some old radio or something, but the cars were pretty gutted. They had been there for awhile. I imagine they'll be crushed and new ones will be put out pretty soon.

There was only one PT Cruiser, which was very gutted. But it was still adorable. xD I love PT Cruisers. Too bad all the good parts were gone though. I'm bummed I couldn't take its headlight. It's a higher year that won't fit my car, but it was niiiice.

At one point, some colorful cards on the floor of an old vehicle caught my attention. I wandered over to poke at all these birthday cards for a "Clay Dalton", then noticed a CD in the driver's seat. It was a MercyMe CD, with barely any scratches on it. :O So I grabbed it.

I also tried to yoink an "ESTEEM" chrome emblem thing off a car, but 3M tape sticks a lot better than I realized.

So we're in line, checking out. The guy comes up and puts some funky yellow paint on the dipstick and power steering cap. He looks like he's in his late 20's, tattoos, gauges, big guy... and then I hold out the CD I found and was like, "And I found a CD. o_o" And he just kinda eyes the CD, then looks at me and says "... I'll let you keep that." and walks off. xD Yay free CDs. And the parts cost me just under $5.

As we were leaving, I was climbing into the truck, and this guy with what sounded like an Australian accent walks up to his truck and is all "Wooo! Yer truck makes my truck look like a baby!!" And he hops in his truck and leaves... xD

I had grease and oil all over my hands. But it was sooo much fun. And I don't mind the oil and grease. It reminds me of good times, working with Dad. Or just Dad. xD

We got some food at Wendy's on the way home. I did try to wash the oil off my hands before I ate. xD Then we headed home for the day.

I'd love to visit again when they get more vehicles in. I'd love to tear up a PT Cruiser.

Man. Once you walk in there and realize you can take anything off those vehicles, it opens your eyes to all the neat stuff on all the other vehicles. xD I have to remind myself that the other cars aren't in junkyards. It's like... when you've been racing at Adventure Landing or something. It's a blast! Then it's time to drive home, and you have to remind yourself that you're not on the racetrack anymore. :B

And yeah, it was inspiring. .. And yes again, I thought about this scene a lot:

o_o

XTREEEEME SCHEDULE

Worked a lot today. Crushed many Twilighter's fantasies as I informed them that EVERY show of New Moon was sold out. I'm hoping to make an entire post dedicated to this madness.

I was switched from Concessions to Box, too, which was cool... I much prefer Box. It's also less physically exhausting, therefore better to do before my second job.

I saw lots of TKD people today. :D Awesome~!

My second job went well. I filled out the English application for it... since my coworker couldn't find it last time and gave me the Spanish version, and I quickly realized how little Spanish I know. xD So two days into working the job, I just filled out the application. lawl.

So many bathrooms.

But it goes by pretty quick. Only took about two hours again.

Tomorrow Mom is having a yard sale at Aunt Shelly's house. But I don't really have much anything to sell.. at least not at a yard sale. And then Caden is kinda sick, and we have a showing for the house at noon. So I'm staying back with Dad to help take care of Caden and then clean the house. Then someone wants to see Dad's truck (we're selling it D8), so we're gonna take the truck out somewhere and meet them, and while doing that, we're gonna visit that junk yard again. >D I'm glad we have a chance to check it out finally.

Man.

I'm afraid this kind of schedule is gonna wear me out. So far, I'm okay. I just come home pretty tired and fall asleep quicker. But I'm still afraid. xD

Uhh.. And then on Sunday, we're supposed to go to the other Shaw's house for some Football hangout time, which I'm quite excited for. :D Love the atmosphere, and hanging out with my other relatives, and I kinda wanna play darts... hopefully without sticking the little plastic things five feet above the board into the drywall. :|

Yeah. Busy busy busy. Man.

My feet kinda hurt. I think the Tylenol I took it wearing off. :x

My Greatest Moment

Greatest blonde moment, that is...

Thing #1 you must know: Awhile ago, we made two copies of my PT Cruiser key so we had extras. Though, in the end, the key needs the computer chip in it to work, thus all the copies are good for is unlocking the car. They won't drive it. So I put them on my shelf, unused for many months.

But when I wrecked my car, I had left the chipped key at Dale's shop. So when Dad and I went up on Sunday, I remembered the duplicates we made and used it to open the car. Then I put it back in my purse to forget it ever existed.

Thing #2 you must know: I haven't used that key since I unlocked the door two weeks ago, and I haven't even SEEN it since, even though I've dug through the pocket on my purse dozens of times. I keep my chapstick and pencils in that pocket... I dig through it several times a day. xD But.. I never saw that key again.

SO.

The story begins.

Some friends of ours graciously allowed me to borrow their Nissan Quest van for the week. So I've been using it since Sunday night. I'm glad I have something to drive. It gets me where I need to go... but I do have to admit, I miss my PT Cruiser greatly and it's silly how much it matters to me what I'm seen driving in and going to and from work in.

So the other night, I switched my concessions night shift with someone's box night shift. So I got off at 10:15 instead of midnight. I went to the back room, grabbed my stuff, and fished around for the key as I was walking outside. I saw the little gold ball chain in the bottom of the bag, but figured it had fallen off, and was glad I hadn't been using it on my belt loop or something.

So I take this shiny silver key out to the van, put it in the driver's side, turn it, and.. it gets stuck. In fact, the key wouldn't go in all the way. :< I jiggled it around, then carefully yanked it out and inspected it for cracks or dents. I vaguely wondered if manually locking it when I got out earlier had done something to the lock. In my mind, the car seemed half locked or something.

So I tried the passenger side with the same result. Err.. Kay. Side door? Same. ... Baaaack door? Nada. D: So, feeling like the people in Starbucks are watching me, and the Moe's Crew is wondering if I'm breaking into this van, I head inside.

I went and found the manager Morgan, and asked him if he'd help me try to open it. Maybe some man-power, right? ... Wrong. He was very nice and helped me, but got the same result I did. D: He suggested maybe, just maybe there was a different key for the lock and ignition? But I blew that idea up when I told him I've used the same key for both a number of times already.

So we head back inside. I called home, being quite glad Dad is home now and can come to my rescue once again. xD I explained the situation to Dad, and he said he'd be on his way soon. Then Mom calls back a few minutes later, and I blab about my day at Wake Tech and whatnot for a bit, and then wait for Dad. I threw on my D-Now shirt for comfy warmth and awaited Dad.

And I could hear his truck coming. x3 Yaaay.

So he pulls up, and I'm just like "Vehicles and I? Yeah, we just don't get along too well lately." xD So I hand him the key and he tries the drivers door. Same result. And he's like "Are you SURE this is the only key for this?" And I'm positive. They only had one, and they gave it to me. D: And now, I somehow broke it. =_=

We try the passenger side. Same result. Then he's like "This can't be right. This is the wrong key. Are you SURE this is the right key?" And I'm like "It's the only one!" And then something dawned on me.. "Unless-...?" And I laugh nervously as I dig into my purse pocket. I just realized the silver key he had was shaped oddly similar to MY car key, and that the gold chain I saw-- which meant I had left my PT key in my purse and that gold chain was still attached to the right key--!? I pulled out a gold, square key on a gold ball chain out, amused and horrified. We exchanged keys, walked to the other side, and he puts it in the hole...

It fits like a dream. He looks at me with that smile of his, turns the key, and the door pops open.

Oh yes... xD I DID just do that.

He doesn't say anything, though obviously amused, and turns right around, hops in his truck, and drives off. xD So I hurry and hop in the van to catch up. If I was in an anime, I swear, I would've had a ":3" face glued to my features as I followed him the whole way home. xD I was just so glad he wasn't mad, and had come all the way out to help me with only a phone call, and that he's back.

My Daddy rescued me with common sense that night.

I also learned that PT Cruiser keys don't work in Nissan Quests.

I know, I know... :|

Doesn't take long to break my habit. Plus I really wanted to blog about important things that happened during D-Now first, but I haven't had the opportunity to sit down and do it.

And I'm not dead, I do plan to finish D-Now blogging, aaand yes, I will keep nightly updates going...? Yah.. So here's a quick recap of my week, which I thought would be bland and boring.

Sunday: Took a nap. Had weird dreams. Ew. Went with Mom to some friend's house, who let me borrow their van while they daughter is house/cat/vehicle sitting this week. Yay something to drive. Nay the radio doesn't work. It's a very quiet ride... o_o;

Monday: Work. A co-worker popped up with a second job offer for me. As much as I DO NOT WANT any more responsibilities or jobs right now, I watched everything conveniently fall into place around it. =_=

Tueday: Switched with someone at work so I had the daytime off. Got a drink and used a coupon at Sheetz to get a massive sandwich for a grand total of $.96. Woo! Also got a My Sheetz card. I didn't know you could actually scan that jumble of black and white stuff on the back of your license..

Went to the bank to try getting a credit card or super small loan. Result? Denied. :< BUT. They referred me to some neat pre-paid credit cards I hadn't heard of before, which I looked online later, and I appear to actually be approved! The only problem? They want security deposits over $200-$300 that just sits there as some kind of buffer. :| Now is NOT the best time for that. Dx I'll try to get one eventually, yeah, but.. not this instant.

Then I went to Wake Tech. I drew a lot while waiting to talk to advisers. Long story short, I can't register for classes until I meet with an Academic Adviser and get the hold lifted. I met with a Financial Aid Adviser and she said it looked like FAFSA will cover most of my costs, tho they don't have the official numbers yet. I have to call back on Tuesday. Also, if I register after the 21st, I don't have to pay until Dec 17th, which is good for me. :3 Meant I could finish getting car parts. Then I sat back down and waited to talk to an Academic Adviser so I could get the hold lifted.

I talked to one really nervous and upset guy in the lobby.. He was just having a really rough time. He needed like.. 3.5k in ten days for out of state tuition or he was gonna have to wait until Summer or Fall 2010 to take more classes. So we just chatted a bit, and I told him about my current financial and college struggles, and he said it made him feel a little better to know he wasn't the only one with issues. xD No no, from the sound of that office, plenty of people have issues.

One by one, everyone was called. I dunno what happened on that list, but they packed up and closed and I never got to talk to anyone... But whatever. I got a lot of drawing time in. :D

Then I had to go to work.

And I totally saw The King on the street corner. I uploaded a picture on Facebook to prove it. >| I swear he was hailing Hitler.

... And I had a major blonde moment, but it's was SO DANG BLONDE that it'll get its own blog post.

Wednesday: Had the morning off again. I had a list of things I needed to do, right? Involving the internet and phone. And what happens? Both the internet and phone goes out for the majority of the day... xD Figures. I played lots of Solitaire, read some of my EW magazine, and totally flippin' geeked out over the sampled Overnight Prints sent me. o____o I am SO SO SO excited to get stuff from them. It must be a sin to be this excited over postcards and brochures.

When the internet FINALLY worked, I hopped online and ordered the last three major parts I need for my car. :3 I'm hoping I'll be driving it again by next weekend. :3

Went to work. Was on door.

Got off work.

Saw New Moon. >3 And what's funny? Tracy told me and Ashleigh. I sent Alicia a text. Alicia told Amber. And somehow, me, Ashleigh, Kyle, Joseph, Tiffany, Kristin, Jamie, and Amber came. xD Word flew fast.

It was a can of cheese, rly.. but somehow, entertaining.. similar to last time. Tho the effects were much better in this one, I assure you. The wolves were obviously CGI, but if you try to ignore it and just enjoy it, they're nifty.

Best scene EVER? When they're in Italy. I swear Edward is wearing an old red bathrobe, and he, Alice, Bella, and then Dakota Fanning enter into this weird green elevator, and awkward elevator choir music is playing, and everyone is just deadpan staring ahead. It's THE BEST SCENE EVER. ... I am aware of my odd sense of humor.

And so uh.. I'm starting my second job tomorrow night. o__o That happened so fast. x_x I don't even know. They're called Red Coats Inc. They're a cleaning company, and I'll be cleaning lots of bathrooms in a Duke Medicine office building. ... It's less than glorious, but it'll basically be an extra $400 a month, and I'm only doing it the rest of November and December. After that I'll go back to limited Marquee work while taking Wake Tech classes. Or at least that's the plan...

I kinda.. don't look forward to it. But it's only.. five weeks. x_x Five weeks. Only five weeks. I have no like.. suspense for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It just means lots of hours, the busy season, aaaand.. things will be crazy. I'm no excited for the holidays, but at least I'm not sad about them like before. I'm pretty chill with the fact I work my tail off this season every year now.

Man alive... I gotta go to sleep. x_x
